RACING)

Qualifying

-Qualifying will always happen in split groups with a certain amount of drivers on track at once. This will be determined in the drivers meeting. The top half of the practice times will be in Group 1. The lower half will be in Group 2 (in the event that we need a third or fourth group the track time will be split evenly ). Group 2 qualifies first, and half way through the session, Group 1 will go out during the second half of the session. Any driver in Group 2 that does not leave the track after their qualifying session has ended will have their laps invalidated, as well as their fastest time. Also, If you obstruct another driver’s flying lap(s) your fastest time will be invalidated.

-If you miss your group for qualifying you will not be allowed to qualify with another group.

Starts

-In game starts will be standing starts, followed by a PKC grid up at a predetermined location. The Race will end at the finish line and not the location of the start of the race.
-No restarts except for 40% of the field wrecks and/or multiple peoples games crashing (4 or more).
-Absolutely no restarts for incidents that happen in the pre-final, only if 40% of the field crashes, there will be a full course caution and will go green next time by the front straightaway.

-Starts will always go at the yellow line. if there is no yellow line, the admins will inform you on where the point will be. Should a track have a long straight with a grid that is far back the acceleration line will be as far forward as possible, this means either the start finish line or a predetermined object located on the side of the track.

-Starts will be maintained at a pace of 25 MPH or 37 KMH.

-If pole sitter can not maintain that pace they will get 1 wave around and if done again he/she will be sent to last place.

-You may not move out of your lane until the green flag drops. If you do move out of your lane early it is a 5 sec penalty. If 2nd is ahead of 1st before the checkered line he/she will have 5 corners to give back the position or they will be given a 5 second penalty after the race.

Heat(s), LCQ (if needed) And Final

-Should you be lapped you must pull off the track and let the leaders by. If the track is determined to be too short for lappers to continue the lapper must pull into pits their race is over, they then must retire.
-If the final/heats has 40% of the field involved in a wreck, their will be a red flag and the race will restart.
Grid changes will always happen on the back straight with drivers that need to go to the rear of the field, slowing up on the inside of the track, people who need to move forward drive cautiously on the outside line of the track.

-Prohibited actions: No team orders whatsoever to help another teammate win and/or finish strong.
-Blocking: We will be using the “you can zig but you can't zag” rule in all official PKC sessions. Basically, once you have blocked to the inside, you may not move back onto the racing line.
-Tire Scrubbing: It is allowed on starts as long as you do not hit or damage another drivers kart and it is allowed in practice and qualifying as long as you are not impeding another drivers lap.

- Penalties for accidental wrecks will only be given if they force the driver or drivers' to retire due to damage.
-If a driver is involved in 2 crashes (any contact with another driver that causes them to retire) over the course of qualifying through final race, will be ejected, or if it is in the final, DQ’d
-Track cuts that the game doesn’t acknowledge will be added post-race by admins if necessary.
Should you cut and gain a position you have 4 turns to give it back, should you not comply you will be moved to the back of the grid for the final (if it is in pre-final) and DQ’d if in final

-All racing incidents will be reviewed by the admins after the race is over and subject to penalty if necessary.

Teamspeak/Kart racing-pro chat behavior

Reqiurements

-All racers must be able to fluently speak and understand English. This is so everyone can communicate with the admins and be aware what we are doing.

-Teamspeak should be loud enough to hear other drivers and the admins over the sounds in KRP.

-Chat must not have excessive profanity, bullying, or starting fights/arguments is grounds for 1 warning. Should fights continue you will no longer be allowed to have chat privileges. If you continue to to antagonize other drivers or admins by poking or messaging them w/o their discretion you will be ejected.

Points

-Nascar style points sytem [ex if theirs 20 drivers (yes our servers can handle this) 1st=20 pts, 2nd=19pts, 3rd=18pts...etc]/Bonus Points: Fastest lap of the race (1) Pole qualifying (1) Same chassis and paint all season (1) Most laps led in one race (1)

Admin Discretion and decisions
-You will have 3 days to make an appeal or a protest after the final results and once that 3 day period is up the results are final and will no longer be subject to change.

-All admin calls are final with the exception of other admins providing new evidence to contradict the call (protests included).

-If an admin is involved in an incident then their input on penalties isn’t used because it is potentially biased.
Only Admins will have talking power if you need to say something poke any of the admins and/or operators or type it in in game chat.

-Any circumstance/rule that is not clearly stated in the rulebook is in the hands of the Admins. Who (Michael,Matt and Alex) will after the race have a meeting to come to a decision about the circumstance.
